The Bible Way to Heaven
1. Recognize Your Condition.
The Bible says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Explanation: No one is good enough to go to Heaven based upon one's own merit. Regardless of one's perceived good works and deeds, all fall short of earning a place in Heaven.
2. Realize the Penalty for Sin.
The Bible says: "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a)
Explanation: Just as there are wages (something earned and deserved) for good, there are wages (or punishment deserved) for wrongdoing. The Bible says that our penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.
3. Recognize Where Sin Came From.
The Bible says: "Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Romans 5:12)
Explanation: Every person is born with a sin nature passed from Adam to every subsequent generation.
4. Believe Christ Died for You.
The Bible says: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Explanation: God's great love for everyone was on full display when Christ hung on the cross and died to pay our sin debt.
5. Trust Christ Alone as Your Saviour.
The Bible says: "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". (Romans 10:13)
Explanation: Everlasting life is a GIFT for everyone purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.
6. Claim God's Promise for Salvation.
The Bible says: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
Now, that you understand, pray and confess that you are a sinner, ask God to forgive your sins, save your soul by receiving Christ as your Saviour.
Please let us rejoice with you and send us an email to let us know of your decision to spend eternity with our Saviour and every other person that has ever trusted in Christ.
The Bible says: "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," (Ephesians 1:13)
